So today when I got the mail i received my last issue of Seventeen (my subscription just ended) Leighton Meester was on the cover looking adorable as always:
On having long-term relationships with men:
“I haven’t ever really relied on relationships with guys. I’ve only ever really been with a couple of them. They come around and it’s cool, but it’s never been a big thing. I guess I’ve just been really distracted by work.”
On the guys that Blair Waldorf loves:
“I think guys who are rebels and make their own rules are appealing. I don’t want to tame anybody. I want them to be dark and bad. And guys who are a little bad - and by bad, I mean they’re not like constantly around - I consider gold. Guys who are unavailable are actually a dream come true for me because I’m unavailable all the time. It’s great they’re not down your throat.”
On what she’s learned from her parents:
“It made me realize that you can’t judge anyone - especially your parents - for what they’ve done in their past, because people change. I’ve noticed some people get very enthralled with people bashing. Sometimes people can’t help themselves. But I find a way back out and not talk about other people. Even when people are so judgmental about what you wear or your weight, you just have to step away and be like, ‘I’m a normal, fine human being.’”

On the CW the cast of Gossip Girl revealed their first concerts:
Blake Lively: “The first concert I ever went to, ironically enough because she performed on our show [Gossip Girl] was Lisa Loeb. I waited outside the Roxy for hours when I was a kid with my brother and we actually got to see her come in the door because we got there hours before her. It was amazing. So seeing her get to come on the show was really cool.”
Ed Westwick: “I think it would have been a Queen tribute that I went to with my mom and dad when I was very small. I was probably seven or eight-years-old.”
Chace Crawford: “It’s embarrassing, but the first real concert I attended was Garth Brooks, in Texas.”
Leighton Meester: “I think like when I was like 12, I probably went to a concert that was like one of those boy bands that is now forgotten. But the one that I really loved and remembered was either Incubus or No Doubt when I was still in California.”

Gossip Girl cutie Leighton Meester takes a break on the New York City set of her cover shoot for Teen Vogue to talk about style, her cult CW hit and co-star Ed Westwick.
Here’s what the 22-year-old actress had to say:
On how you can tell her and her character Blair Waldorf apart: “I don’t wear headbands, ever.”
On her debut album: “The music is very fun. It’s edgy, like electropop rather than bubblegum and you can dance to it.”
On co-star and on-screen love Ed Westwick: “He’s my favorite actor to work with. We have really good chemistry.”

Leighton's engagement was a rumor!

The New York Post first reported that her and boyfriend Sebastian Stan announced their engagement via their “secret” Facebook page, but a rep for Stan has called the allegations false saying, “he’s not engaged.” I immediately reviewed Meester’s facebook page (which she shares with her fans) and saw no signs of engagement. Another source is now claiming that the supposed facebook pages which announced the engagements were actually fake in the first place. Rumors are started so quickly, although I have to admit, I thought it was really cute of the possibility. Maybe next time.
Leighton's getting married maybe??
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is to announce her engagement to boyfriend Sebastian Stan, according to U.S. reports. The pair met on the set of the hit show last year after Stan played a recurring role alongside Meester's character Blair Waldorf. And the actress is allegedly eager to keep the happy news under wraps - she has only announced the engagement secretly on social networking site Facebook, according to New York gossip column PageSix.
